Kate Winslet is the youngest actress to have received six Oscar nominations. Will she get lucky this time? While we will have to wait and watch, the lady has decided to throw a party, irrespective of whether she wins or loses!
Kate has said that even if she is not declared the Best Actress at the Oscars, she will and friends. “You just don’t know what’s going to happen. This is my sixth nomination, so it will be the sixth time I’ve attended and Oscar ceremony and that in it is a great honour,” she told website. “I don’t take the nominations for granted. If I get the award, that’s great. But if I don’t, I’m still going to have a party,” she added.
Kate Winslet has been nominated for her role in the film The Reader and is competing with Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep for the Best Actress award.
